Some weeks bring answers. Others bring questions. πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

Hey #FaciliFam,

No tools. No facilitation magic. Just a quick check-in.

Because suddenly it's Friday again, and I'm staring at a blank page thinking:

"What do they actually want to read this week?" πŸ‘€

I don't always know. It's often trial and error - and that's okay. Writing a kind-of-weekly newsletter can be a lot of fun when I'm in the flow... or frustrating and exhausting when I'm not.

But this edition? It's about showing up anyway. Building the habit. Staying consistent - even when it's not 1,000 words or perfectly structured.

And this week, instead of forcing it, I tried something different: I asked. 🀩

πŸ™‹ Crowd Wisdom - Powered by You

Feeling a bit stuck, I posted on LinkedIn with a simple question:

"What topics would you love to read about?"

And the responses? So good. Practical. Honest. Thoughtful. Funny, even.

Turns out I don't have to guess or come up with everything on my own.

You - the people in the room - already know what matters to you. And you're more than willing to share, if I just ask.

Facilitation is about asking the right questions. It's about listening. Tuning in. Making space for what's already there.

Okay, I admit... I tried to sneak in a facilitation analogy here, hoping you wouldn't notice. 😐

Here's the LinkedIn post if you'd like to read through - or better yet, add your own idea:

Now I've got a long list to work through. And more are coming in.

Overwhelmed - in the best way. πŸ™ƒ

🧘 Summer Flow Activated

And while we're here - can we talk about how everything feels a bit slower right now?

It's August. The inbox is quieter. Half the people I want to work or talk with are on a beach somewhere. Summer's got that delicious in-between energy - the perfect time to pause, breathe, and regroup. Maybe even go outside. 😁

This slow season is a great time to step back and reflect on your practice, your toolkit, or even your digital setup.

🚧 Behind the (Facili)Scenes

While things might look quiet over here, there's plenty in motion behind the scenes.

✨ Free events to level up your facilitation
πŸŽ“ More trainings, workshops, and resources
πŸ§ͺ Fun facilitation experiments
πŸ› οΈ New tools to explore

All coming your way soon. Stay tuned. Watch your inbox.

Next week, I'll be back with some proper facilitation geekery - tools, tips, and tricks to make your sessions sing.

πŸ’‘ Your Input, Please

This week's invitation is simple: contribute.

If there's something you're stuck on, curious about, or want to explore more deeply - let me know.

Add it in the comments on LinkedIn.

Or, if you're more of an inbox person, just hit reply and tell me what's on your mind.

No pressure. No fancy structure. Just a conversation between facilitation nerds.

Let's co-create this thing. Together.

Happy New Year #FaciliFam πŸŽ‰ New year energy is weird. Somewhere between fresh motivation and needing a nap. πŸ₯± So I am keeping this simple. For January, I have set up a handful of hands-on sessions designed to help you try things, learn by doing, and actually use what you learn. You will see a mix of Premium and Free sessions below. πŸ‘‘ Premium sessions are small group trainings with limited seats, built for depth, focus, and a better overall experience. Pricing is intentionally very affordable....

Hey #FaciliFam, Yesterday Zoom released version 6.7 - yes, I said 6.7 and yes, I am sorry. 😐 My first reaction was exactly what you expect. Another update to decode? πŸ™„Then I clicked around and … okay. Some of this is genuinely useful. I pulled out the updates that actually matter for people who facilitate online sessions. P.S. Due to popular demand, I added two new December dates for my Getting Started with OBS Studio and Stream Deck trainings - details at the end! 🎨 Cleaner Interface...

Sometimes you just want a space where facilitation talk needs no translation and creativity flows because you're not doing everything alone. That's the heart behind the Fit for Facilitation Community. Why This Community Exists Most of us prepare, design, and solve problems alone, even though our work thrives on collaboration. This community was created to make learning, connection, and support feel natural again. Cofounded with Nathy Ravez, Alexandre EisenstΓ€dter, Mehdi E-Naizi, and myself,...
